Dolar Lies Continue

One of the things me and my neighbors resent about Ald. Stone is that he lies to us. And not just a little. It's disappointing that one of the candidates running to replace him follows Berny in that way.

In the prior post I wrote about the lies Naisy has told us about living in the ward "for 30 years." These are words that Naisy has used herself, repeatedly. I've heard her say this, more than once.

Her campaign manager attempts to cover up Naisy's fabrication with this:
An early version of her bio did mistakenly list her as a 30 resident and it has been corrected.

Marissa, Campaign Manager

Yet the campaign lit I've received from Naisy and her supporters clearly states that Naisy is a "30-year resident." This whole thing defies logic. Yes, Naisy's website has been corrected, a fact I've previously noted. More to the point, Naisy's supporters got annoyed for me doing this. It appears to be no little thing. For whatever reason, the Dolar campaign wants to hide this by calling the truth "misleading." As another commenter points out, "marketing wins over integrity."

Do we want a female Stone as our alderman? Is Naisy just a nicer Ilana? Why take the risk?

JS, when did you receive this lit?

It was wrapped up in your education newsletter. Can't say exactly when. Hope that gives you an idea.

Opps, using that earlier version again.

Am I the only one who thinks that Naisy needs to make a public apology for misleading us?

At January 30, 2007 9:30 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

she's got some 'splaining to do! After that, mattering on what is the reality-based story, Naisy may have to apologize. But first, I think we need to hear the facts.

Not to mention the bio page flyer she was giving out in October that said she still worked for the city. She officially resigned last May but had been on maternity leave for a while. She was lying when she gave that flyer to me.

The biggest misleading statement on that thing is the so-called "government experience". Since when does an ethnic liason position have anything at all to do with "government experience" or an ability to govern?

Sometimes it is "the area" for 30 years.

Sometimes it is "the ward" for 30 years.

And sometimes it is "all my life."

At January 30, 2007 10:00 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Well, if it's "all my life," it seems problematic, right? A person can live "in spirit" in a place, but it's not the same as actually being there.

So, which is it?

How old is she anyway? Her MySpace page lists her as 99.

Surely she's not older than Stone, unless she's got one heck of a Dorian Grey thing going on.

All I can say to Naisy is that we "expect more for our ward".

At January 30, 2007 11:24 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

Perhaps Greg should be allowed to round up his 5 years in the ward to ten.

At January 30, 2007 11:27 PM, Anonymous Anonymous said...

and Berny round down his age to 65.

Two questions:

1. When will someone blames this issued/incident on Alderman Stone?

2. JS-based on all the fuss you had about disclaimers on yard signs, should you not have a disclaimer on you blog" Paid for by the Brewer Campaign" LOL

Gee wiz:

You guys get your panties out of your crack, ha ha ha

If that is the worse lie a campaign comes up with, they will never meet the standard of an elected official in Cook County.

The Stroger Team had the pro abortion people sending out $140,000 worth of mailings with a coat hanger hanging on the pen of Tony Peraica. The Stroger Team had Tony Peraica shutting down Provedent Hospital and closing clinics.

30 years, 22 years, whats the big deal ? Like I said before, focus on the incumbant.

I am disgusted by this blog and the comments that have been posted.

To the person who said:

"since when does an ethnic liason position have anything at all to do with "government experience" or an ability to govern"

-- that is a very shallow comment and you SHOULD APOLOGIZE to ALL ETHNIC groups for such a comment! Did you have nothing else worth saying that you had to resort to such a stupid remark?!!

There wouldn't be a need for diversity initiatives throughout AMERICA if people truly understood that RACE MATTERS.

If the needs of ALL GROUPS were addressed, there wouldn't be a need for a community liaison position to UNDERSTAND the needs of ALL PEOPLE.

Too bad Naisy bases her campaign on race. She'll just represent the Asian community in Chicago, not all people of the 50th ward like Alderman Stone does already.

He must be very confident of winning. I'm waiting for the pre-election reports to see what the unions are contributing. I'll bet it's huge.

Please do not put words where they didn't exist. I never said Naisy Dolar is running to fix America. I was expressing my own opinion on the comments previously posted by another anonymous Please do not try to instigate although I noticed all this blog does is do that.

I almost feel bad for Greg. He gets recruited by Irv to defeat his arch-nemisis, is tricked into paying for 91% of his campaign, then is sucked dry by these "professional" consultants.

You think he would have raised more money through his SOM contacts.

Should there be a run-off, I'm pulling for Greg. He won't have any money left for the second act!

A word to the wise, Greg. If Alan tells you that you could win if you just take out a mortgage on the bungalow, get out of Dodge while you can.

As Uncle Berny is fond of singing, "You got to know when to hold em. Know when to fold em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run..."

I just got done examining the 49th ward candidates - and those three boys are in as bad as shape as Greg when it comes to running against the incumbent's money.

I wish them all luck.

Most of the money Greg raised/borrowed is going toward paying his professional team.

The D2's were interesting for many reasons. It seems like the campaigns could take various angles on their reports. I noticed Sal Aftab and Naisy Dolar both had many donars to their campaign. Brewer has basically no body else supporting his campaign (money wise).

Brewer & Stone have the most money left $47,000 - $45,000 and Naisy not far behind with about $40,000.
Naisy's report will need to be amended though. On 12/11/06 she showed a donation (from herself) of $5,000 and a loan of $5,000 on the same day.....either there was a mistake or she gave herself $10,000 on that day.

Bethann Hester and Eric Salcedo of the New Democracy Fund gave Naisy $9,500. D1's state that the objective of the group is to "support candidates that hold our views" (something like that).

Another thing about Naisy's report I found interesting was a donation from Emma Dime-Dolar. Emma married up from a dime to a dolar. That would have been an interesting wedding notice, "Dime to marry Dolar".

Pre election reports are due Feb. 13th. More inportantly the period for A1's began on Jan 29th, so keep your eyes on that State website to see all the new money comming into the campaigns.

In the begining I figured it would take close to $100,000 to win this election.

A note about Ald. Stone, he has the ability to raise as much money as is needed. Don't be fooled by his money totals.

If you look closely at all four of the canidates' D-2s, Stone is the only one who has raised any money in the ward. Naisy is outside the city and across the country Brewer outside the city and his own bank account and the other canidate had nothing from within the ward.

So you can see who supports whom ..which is the people of the 50th support their Alderman.. Stone.

There are a few things that strike me as very obvious about these reports. Not many people know the proper way to file them and violations of election law can carry stiff penelties. Those penelties can, in some cases, cripple a campaigns remaining cash available ballance and in other cases penelties can include other totals. I encourage all campaigns between now and Feb 27th to be very carefull in what you report. This is a top notch race and some people do not take kindly to false reports. There are few people that know this law good enough, and I know this law very well. There is no statute of limit of limitations on election law reporting violations. Messing up here could ruin a candidate.

This is a top notch race, the fact that Greg Brewer has taken virtually no outside money speaks poorly about his campaign.

I said it before and I will say it again, The Money trail will speak volumes. Anybody that knows anything about politics can hear it loud and clear. Only two candidates show a healthy mix, Dolar and Stone.

Brewer and Sal Aftab could suprize many with an influx of money from sources other than that which appears on their reports.

Two weeks to go and all the money will show. Two more weeks and the field wins the race.

I can't wait till the upcomming debate to get another gage of the campaigns.

You would think if brewer really wanted to win he would have his campaign manager work on his campaign and not spend his time spewing lies about Dolar on a computer. It really is sad if you think about it.

Naisey work as the Liason for the Chicago Commission on Human Relations. I dont know what the liasons do but I do know about the enforcement part of that Agency.

The CCHR is a joke among Human Resources professionals in Chicago. They can enforce the city ordinance that they are charged with to do but how they do it in their investigations are laughable.
