This is What Hatred Sounds Like
As I've said before, the Hate Campaign is a staple of Ald. Stone and his sycophants. One of them, who many of us believe is Ilana, but we commonly identify as CAPSMAN, wrote this:

This is the Voice of Hate. This has all been said before about African-Americans, Jews, Catholics, Irish and Poles, but in this case, it seems to be said about Asian-Americans.
Whoever it is said about, this is the voice of bigotry and intolerance. The fact that this person supports Berny Stone says a lot about Stone and his base. Ald. Stone is infamous for taking people into his office, people who want some kind of normal city service, and berating them, often using ethnic prejudices. While no one believes that this Voice of Hate is actually Ald. Stone, it does represent Ald. Stone.
Be afraid.

It was okay up until the last line. Look, I voted for Stone and do not support what is said. Please don't use "guilt by association." I know perfectly nice people who voted for Dolar but did not support her tactics. Let's crank it down please.
I think the last line is acceptable only if my assumption is correct, and CAPSMAN is an officially-sanctioned Stone creation. But I have no proof of that, only suspicion. If I am wrong about that, then I agree with you.
What is important is that I don't like the level of animosity I see in the neighborhood, animosity that I witnessed before people ran against Stone. That's why I supported Brewer, because I saw in him the possibility and hope that we could heal as a community. I've never tried to hide that.
As per racial invective, just think back to a post from last weekend when willow9 said that 'even though we may lose there are more of us than you -- we will outlive you.'
Now what was she talking about? Certain demographic/racial-ethnic considerations, you think?
And what about the anti-white ravings in Naisy's Asian Coalition newspaper?
And what about the ethnocentric Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee "Rights" that was running her campaign? Isn't their mode of operation to villify the American majority culture on behalf of their helpless racial "victims.?"
Stone's 11th hour self-inflicted anti-semitic graffitti was the oldest trick in the book, and I'm surprised that any in the Jewish community are so dense as to fall for that crap anymore. Everyone from State Sen. Jeff Schoenberg to Jan Schakowsky have used that non-sense and it is an incredible mark of their disrespect for the collective IQ of their Jewish constituency.
But the Dolar crowd was no better with their blatant anti-white appeals.
It's enough to want to make one want to wash his hands and relocate to Switzerland.
maybe it's time to have a few 'town hall meetings' to discuss in a facilitated way WHY so many people at least on this blog are so devoted to keeping Stone as Stone. Why not urge him to accept some of the other campaigns' ideas? If the alderman is slow to change some of the practices his family will not be the majority choice no matter what the people who have no problem getting services(or referrals or respect say).

I'm so disgusted with the negative behavior of some Stone partisans that I have petitioned the City to declare my property in Northern Noundary, an enclave of the 49th Ward. I'm tired of self appointed Stone bigots telling me that I should move if I don't like their Alderman, that a Dolar victory would have destroyed the community, and that Jews like myself who supported Naisy had betrayed their faith. So if you want to make a statement, go to the City of Chicago Government Contact page and email the Mayor's office with a similar request. Perhaps someone will listen to us and maybe the Capsman might at last learn how to embrace authentic American values instead of the Stalinist creed he or she clearly follows at present!

By contrast, all the Stone poll runners that I saw were young, white, sullen-looking men in their 20s (maybe even high-school age!) who told Dolar poll runners that they were paid $150 a day by Stone. (Yes, Naisy had some paid canvassers, but the number of volunteers far, far outweighed the number of paid staff.)
It was all such a stark contrast--Dolar's earnest, diverse, volunteer base vs. a paid, sullen "Machine."

Alderman Stone volunteers come in all makes models ages both genders race etc. I dont know what election you were workin during the last 6 months. There were more of them and they did a better job.

I live in the ward and I never saw or was approached by anyone for Stone before election day, when I saw only young, white, male paid workers for Stone outside the polls.
Fear and doubt-- that was the strategy used by the Stone campaign. I worked the phone bank for Dolar on election day. One caller told me that she was Jewish and some men from Stone's campaign who were canvassing the neighborhood told her that her Jewish neighbors would "hate" her if she voted for Dolar and that if she voted for Dolar, "you should be afraid."
Another older gentleman told me that he voted for Dolar but "don't tell Berny."
Fear and Doubt helped win this election for Stone--but Dolar's campaign has made good progress and we can overcome it next time, I'm sure.

However, Naisy's volunteers FAR outnumbered Stone's, and Stone's paid canvassers FAR outnumbered Naisy's.

Supporting Greg Brewer for "healing" purposes is one major example of Cognitive Dissonance. That is one of Stone's m.o.'s, if you have the audacity to run against him he will paint you as an anti-semite. First he went after Brewer, then Ilana vandalized his office and tried to make it look like Dolar's camp did it.

This post was not written by Ilana. I am her husband and told her not even to bother posting anything here, as it is a waste. Ilana has never been on the site before; never made an account so by posting under Anonymous was a mistake to begin with even though she represented herself as Ilana. Yes the first Ilana post was truly Ilana. By the way my daughters are not minors they are adults that’s how much this person knows who impersonated Ilana in this last post. By closing I would like to say Alderman Stone is not going anywhere and Ilana is not running for Alderman. So there you have it!!

People remember one thing anyone can post under Anonymous and claim to be anyone. I can claim to be Naisy Dolar under Anonymous and say my workers did a bad job otherwise I would have won. This document does not mean a thing. Goes to show how smart people here really are.

That post was not by Ilana's husband. I am Ilana's husband and I did not make that post. It was posted by someone impersonating me. I did not post that the earlier post was truly Ilana, and I did not post that Ilana is not running for alderman.
My daughters are not minors, they are adults and they are responsible for their posts here and on other blogs. We of course asked them to post anonymously so as not divulge any identifying information, which is what any parent would do, and they honored that ground rule. We are proud of what they accomplished during the election in refuting the hate and slander directed at our family.
Ilana again. Why don't you people get lives and leave as alone? We don't have time for this. We have a ward to run. The Alderman Abba and I have an important meeting with Walgreen's. I told her posting here was a mistake. But she doesn't listen to me, I guess if you know her you will not be surprised to learn that. She doesn't listen to anybody.
And I told her working for Alderman Abba was a mistake, too. By taking a front-line public job you will be putting yourself and our family in the public eye, I told her. You need to have a thick skin, I told her, which you don't. Wait til the girls are older, I told her, they need guidance at this age. You can do other things, I told her, your typing is pretty good.

Friday she came home at 3:30, like every day, and like every day, she throws her coat on a chair and KICKS ME across the room. It makes her feel better, I guess. I don't know why I meet her at the door. Instinct, I guess. I keep hoping today will be different, but every day it is the same.
This Friday was a little different because she tried to COOK. I know what that means: leftovers! I'd rather take my chances with STORE-BOUGHT, even these days. And Ugh! the smells! How can you ruin a brisket? But she manages. Her family picks at it and slips it under the table when she's not looking. It makes me SO sick.

Hello, I am the Alderman's granddaughter.
Our family has been to the holocaust museum many times. We know our history. Whenever hateful people post that horrible picture of Grandpa Berny RESTING HIS EYES, we know what it REALLY means. They are not just trying to say that he sleeps on the job - they are trying to portray EVERYONE in our COMMUNITY as LAZY! Well, it's NOT TRUE! If it were your grandfather you would not let it stand, either. We will defend our grandfather on the blogs!
Your ability to jump to unwarranted and unreasonable conclusions is matched by your ignorance of the facts. The alderman is not the only Jewish member of the City Council, but I presume you already know that. And just because he is Jewish does not mean that people should give him a pass on his failure to lead.
I know He failed to lead you to cut your lawn. That was a big failure in itself LOL.
